Guangzhou is the capital and largest city of Guangdong province in southern China. It is located about 120 km north-northwest of Hong Kong.

Guangzhou VOLMET is located at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. Its power output is 6 kW. Guangzhou shares the frequency with Beijing VOLMET.
