Voice of Indonesia 3325 kHz

At about 1239 UTC on the 14th day of May 2024, I tuned in to the Voice of Indonesia, transmitting on 3325 kHz in the Japanese language. This was followed by the English-language broadcast.

RRI Voice of Indonesia, or simply Voice of Indonesia (VOI) is an Indonesian international broadcaster. It was founded in 1945 and is the oldest Indonesian international media organization. It broadcasts via shortwave radio as well as streaming television and provides information about Indonesia to people around the world. RRI’s vision is “To Make RRI  a Trusted and Global Public Broadcasting Institution.” (RRI 2024) (Wikipedia 2024)

The overall reception of the Voice of Indonesia was fair.   The signal strength was fair and there was no interference from other stations on the same frequency, or on adjacent frequencies.  There was only slight fading of the signal. There was some moderate atmospheric noise on the band – static crashes.
