At about 1403 UTC on the 25th day of July 2024, I tuned in to Radio NUG, broadcasting on 11940 kHz in the Burmese language.
The signal was coming from the Paochung 300 kW transmitter in Taiwan. (Short Wave Info 2023)
Above:- Map showing the location of Paochung. Map c/o Google Maps.
The overall reception of Radio NUG was fair. The signal strength was good and there was only slight fading of the signal. However, there was a strong buzzing noise similar to an Over the Horizon Radar on or just below the frequency. I am unsure if it was deliberate interference.
