Reach Beyond Australia – 11905 kHz

At about 1145 UTC on Sunday the 11th day of August 2024, I tuned in to Reach Beyond Australia, broadcasting on 11905 kHz in the Burmese language.

The signal was coming from the Kununurra 100 kW transmitter in Western Australia. (Short Wave Info 2023)

The overall reception of Reach Beyond Australia was excellent. The signal strength was very strong and there was no fading of the signal. There was no interference on the frequency or from adjacent frequencies until 1158 UTC when China Radio International commenced broadcasting on 11910 kHz in the Amoy language. They totally wiped out Reach Beyond Australia which fortunately was concluding their transmission.
