At about 0613 UTC on Sunday, 10th day of August 2025, I tuned in to Radio Mali, Republic of Mali, broadcasting on 5995 kHz in the French language.

I was inspired to listen to the station after viewing a video on YouTube by Rob VK3BVW.
The broadcast was coming from the 50 kW transmitter near Bamako.

The overall reception of Radio Mali was poor. The signal strength was low and was amongst the noise. However, the commentary and music were audible.
