Received yesterday via email was a QSL letter from the Civil Aviation Headquarters in Hong Kong for my reception of Hong Kong VOLMET on 9th August 2023.

Received in the mail in the past couple of days was a QSL card from Reach Beyond Australia for my reception of their station on 15380 kHz on 11th January 2023.

Yesterday in the mail I received a QSL card in the mail from the Voice of Hope Africa, for my reception of their station on 9680 kHz on 25th January 2022.

This morning I received a very nice email from Radio Educacion in MEXICO, with an eQSL card and an audio message from the station. It was for my reception of their station on 11th November 2021. They had previously sent me a QSL card and letter in the mail, but it was severely water damaged.

In the email, they wrote:

“For Radio Educación it is very significant to receive your letter with the reception report, with the details of your listening and the quality in which you receive the signal.”

The audio file was taken from their broadcast in the Spanish language where they thanked me for the reception report. They stated ‘radio listeners are the most important thing’.

At about 0600 UTC on the 12th day of August 2023, I tuned in to the Voice of America, broadcasting in the English language on 15580 kHz.

The broadcast was coming from the 100kW Selebi-phikwe transmitter in Botswana in Africa.

The overall reception of the VOA was good.

At about 0445 UTC on the 12th day of August 2023, I tuned in to Ifrikya FM, broadcasting in the French language on 13790 kHz.

The broadcast was coming from the 300kW Ourgla transmitter in Algeria.

The overall reception of Ifrikya FM was good.

At about 0550 UTC on the 12th day of August 2023, I tuned in to Gander CANADA VOLMET, transmitting on 13270 kHz.

At about 0549 UTC on the 12th day of August 2023, I tuned in to the Royal Air Force (RAF) VOLMET, transmitting on 11253 kHz.

At about 1124 UTC on 11th August 2023, I tuned in to Mumbai INDIA VOLMET, transmitting on 11387 kHz.

The signal was very weak and the signal also appeared to be distorted.
