At about 0641 UTC on the 20th day of September 2023, I tuned in to the Voice of Tukey, broadcasting in the Hausa language on 15320 kHz.
The broadcast was coming from the 500kW Emirler transmitter site in Turkey.
The overall reception of the Voice of Turkey was good. There was a squealing type of noise on the frequency. I am not sure if this was some form of deliberate interference?

Yesterday I found out the results of the 2023 CQ World Wide WPX Contest.
I entered into the Tribander/single-element low power section on the 10m band.
I came 1st in Australia, 4th in Oceania, and 23rd in the world in this category.
This is the overlay certificate for the tri-bander/single-element category.
Thank you to everyone who called me on 10m during the contest, and thank you to CQ for organising the contest.
The shack extension project continues but is almost completely finished. I have just started filling the new room and decorating the walls.

Yesterday in the mail I received a QSL card from WWCR in the USA for my reception of their station way back in October 2021.
