  1. Hi Paul and Marija
Thanks for the splendid opportunities you guys provided for us chasers during your trip. And conditions overall were challenging and there were a number of occasions when we in SA were not able to copy you while you were in far east Gippsland and NSW. I enjoyed the chasing experience and am glad to get you both in my log for most of your activations.
I am looking forward to seeing your photos.
    Cheers

  2. Hi John,

We had a terrific time. Lots of activations during our trip but we did quite a bit of sightseeing. It’s a beautiful part of Victoria along the east coast. We even went up to the Snowy River NP and the Alpine NP.

We had to endure some quite poor band conditions at time, but we were blessed with the weather right up until the very end.

    Thanks for the calls John.

    73,

    Paul VK5PAS.

  3. Very nice road trip, Paul. Lots of good scenery with great photos, and relevant local history… and of course excellent contacts. My congrats to both you and Marija. Mike, KEØGZT

  4. Hi Mike,

I am slowly adding a post on each of the activations, with plenty of info & photos. It was a very enjoyable trip. Pity we couldn’t work more DX, but that’s the way the bands have been of late.

    73,

    Paul VK5PAS

  5. G’day Chris,

It was a great trip. We certainly saw some great countryside and put another 4,500 km on the clock on the Hi Lux. The band conditions were very challenging at times so we were happy with nearly 1700 QSOs.

    Cheers,

    Paul VK5PAS.

  6. Hi there Paul and Marija,

What a wonderful record of your fantastic trip through Victoria and New South Wales. I was very pleased to make contact with along the way.

Thank you both for sharing your trip and experiences with us all.

    Best regards,

    Garry VK2GAZ

    • Hi Garry,

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a message. We had a magnificent time and we certainly hope we gave a few park hunters, some new parks to add to their list.

      Cheers,

      Paul VK5PAS.
