In the last few days, I have qualified for my latest VKFF award certificate.
It is the VKFF Hunter Honour Roll 1,300 certificate, issued for having worked 1,300 different VKFF references.
I have not been anywhere near as active this year in the WWFF/VKFF program for a variety of reasons. One of those is the noise floor here at home. I have gone from strength 5 noise on 40m to strength 9, making it almost impossible to work activators from home nowadays. VKFF activators are now logged either from my mobile or when I go out portable myself.

Congrats on another Parks portable milestone Paul. That noise problem sounds serious. Have you any suspicions as to the source? I experience S5 to S8 noise, in the evenings, it will be domestic lights, computers, internet and TV, it drops noticeably around 10pm each night. Weekend daytime can be OK as well. 73 Paul VK3HN.

The noise is there constantly now. Even 20m where I previously had strength 1-2 noise, I now have strength 7 noise. In the next few weeks, I am going to go on a bit of a walk around the neighbourhood to see if I can find the source.
