At about 1042 UTC on 30th December 2021, I tuned in to a new station for me, Unique Radio broadcasting in English on 5035 kHz Upper Side Band (USB).
According to their Facebook page:- “Unique Radio is a Non-commercial shortwave radio station on 5035 kHz USB days/nights & sometimes 3210KHz USB occasional use at nights from Thursday through Monday Morning. Broadcast from within the Tamworth Regional council area NSW Australia.”
The overall reception of Unique Radio was fair to good. Listening to music on either USB or LSB is never great in my opinion. The signal strength was good and there was only slight fading on the signal. There were static crashes on the band.
