At about 1057 UTC on Tuesday, the 13th day of October 2026, I tuned in to the BBC, broadcasting on 17810 kHz in the Dari language.
The broadcast was coming from the 250 kW transmitter in Al Seela, United Arab Emirates.

The overall reception of the BBC very good. The signal strength was strong. There was no interference from other stations and there was only slight fading of the signal.
