Some time ago I purchased a WSPRLite Flexi from SOTA Beams in the UK. Tonight I hooked it up to my 5 element yagi which was beaming to the northeast out across the Pacific towards the USA. With a 200mW signal, I was amazed in just a few transmissions who was hearing me.
Within just 20 minutes I was being heard in VK4, New Zealand, USA, and the Canary Islands.
The map below is from VK7JJ’s website. It shows my contacts.
I will keep the WSPRLite on tonight and see what happens.
I then tuned in to the Voice of the Islamic Republic of Iran at 1255 UTC on 15th November 2021. They were broadcasting in the Pashto language on 9510 kHz.
