Our fourth activation for Friday, the 7th day of November 2025, was the Polisbet Bushland Reserve VKFF-5732. The reserve is located about 37 km northwest (by road) of Swan Hill in Victoria.

The reserve is located on the northwest corner of Stratford Road and Morren Road.
The Polisbet State School No. 3786 opened in 1913. It briefly closed in 1926, then reopened in 1927. Enrolments at the school peaked in 1943. (Grokipedia 2026)

The reserve is about 22 hectares in size and was established on the 1st day of May 1979. (Dcceew.gov.au 2025)
This was an easy park to access, with a dirt track leading into the reserve. We ran the Yaesu FT857, 40 watts, and the 20/40/80m linked dipole.
